12/19/08 – Santa Pants – This Santa Pants design will be the last pattern and instruction page added to the The Secret to a Hot Fused Glass Christmas page for this year. It is a very basic design and quite simple to cut and assemble. This is one of the few designs that would not require a glass saw, as the parts are basic shapes. Once the glass is fused, use Pebeo Vitrea paints to add all the important and tiny details.

12/17/08 – Santa Claus Hat – A jolly red Santa Claus Hat is the most recent holiday design added to the The Secret to a Hot Fused Glass Christmas page. This pattern only takes a couple of colors to achieve the design. They could also be made out of other colors to represent a winter stocking hat. This design can be made just for the brisk winter days, or enhanced to represent the holiday season. Add some embellishments like holly to turn this pattern into a Christmas delight, or leave it plain and unadorned to wear all winter long.

12/08/08 – Christmas Elf Legs – This witty design is very simple to make and assemble, but does require the use of a glass saw to cut out the intricate details. Add a couple of dots to the toes of the shoes as bells. I used Pebeo Vitrea paints to add the details after firing and then cured the paints in the oven according to the directions.

12/05/08 – Cellophane Wrapped Candy – This is the first of a few new fused glass Christmas patterns. This is a pattern that I thought about a few months ago and just had to make for the up coming holiday. Use a little fiber paper around the edges to add that extra wavy detail.
