05/30/09 – Mother and Child – An effortless, yet chic shape of a mother and child touching in such a way that the center of the design forms a heart pattern. Be sure that your pieces are overlapping so that they fuse together, and place them so that the center of the piece forms a heart outline. Since we are still in the month of May, this particular pattern is being added to the Mother’s Day page.

05/19/09 – Cameo – An elegant design where layered glass is placed to give the appearance of carved glass. Using stringers, dots and scrap glass to build up layers, this design is very simple to design. It is the first pattern placed on the Mother’s Day patterns page.
Also added to the site today is a page to help individuals who have experienced the drama of getting glass on the heating elements inside the kiln. There are a few suggestions on this page to help you solve this dilemma.
