Adding Texture to Fused Glass Projects

07/27/08 – Textured Designs – This is a fantastic way to add intensity and dimension to your fused glass pieces. There are many ways this can be accomplished. To add depth to your fused glass pieces, read more about these techniques on the Textured Designs page.

Textured Pad – These pads can be purchased to add design to your fused glass projects. There are several designs to select from for this process.

Glass Embossing – This process entails using bronze dies to impress a design into the glass. This does require working inside the kiln when it is beyond a full fuse temperature.

Kiln Carving – A simple technique that can add uniquely one-of-a-kind impressions in a fused artwork piece. This is an easy and uncomplicated method.
