Note Taking

08/09/10 – Note Taking – When glass fusing it is highly recommended that you take notes. These notes will not only help you learn a lot about your individual kiln, but give you insight into what works and what doesn’t work. You can refer to your memos when doing future firings, they will also help you remember things like the various temperatures and what the final results were.

Everyone has pieces that turn out perfect and some that don’t turn out as we envisioned. Writing down all your information will definitely come in handy not only in figuring out what went wrong, but in determining what you want to do on potential projects.
